JBL Club 54F Gen 3 – 13 cm coaxial speakers

The JBL Club 54F from the third generation of the Club series is a pair of 2-way coaxial speakers with a diameter of 13 cm (5.25 inches). They are intended to replace factory speakers in doors and on parcel shelves, where they provide a noticeably fuller sound.

Construction

• 130 mm woofer with a Plus One polypropylene cone
• silk tweeter
• 3 ohm impedance for better use of the radio's power
• compact format without a grille

Sound

A frequency response of 75 Hz – 20 kHz and a sensitivity of 91 dB allow clear reproduction of vocals and instruments even from a factory radio. A power of 45 W RMS also allows use with a small amplifier.

Installation tips

Before buying, it is worth measuring the diameter of the opening and the mounting depth in the door or on the shelf and checking whether the car requires a mounting adapter. When connecting, keep the wire polarity, plus and minus, matched so that the bass is not canceled. The best results come from additionally deadening the door with a damping mat.
