Poppstar – inlet hose with Aquastop for washing machine and dishwasher, 1.5 m

A hose that supplies water to a washing machine or dishwasher, fitted with an Aquastop safety valve. It is a practical accessory for freestanding appliances that reduces the risk of flooding your home in case of a leak or a burst hose.

How the protection works

The valve in the hose immediately shuts off the water supply when it detects a leak. This way a hose failure does not end in a flooded floor and costly damage to your neighbors. It is especially important where the washing machine runs while the household is away.

Installation and use

• the 3/4 inch thread fits standard water valves and most washing machines and dishwashers,
• the 150 cm length lets you place the appliance some distance from the tap,
• installation comes down to tightening the connectors, with no specialist tools.

Specifications

Before installation, check in your appliance's manual what type of water connection is required. A hose with Aquastop is a sensible, inexpensive (washing machine and dishwasher hose) addition to any washing machine and dishwasher.

If your hose is old, cracked or hard, replacing it with a new one with a safety valve is one of the simplest things that genuinely improve safety at home. Regularly check the tightness of the connectors and the condition of the braid, and replace the gaskets after every disassembly.
