AARON Post - aluminum seatpost

A seatpost is the part that connects the saddle to the bicycle frame; it slides into the frame's seat tube and lets you set the saddle height to suit the user's height. The AARON Post model has a simple, rigid construction, without suspension, in a variant with a diameter of 30.9 mm and a length of 350 mm.

Material

The seatpost is made of 6061 aluminum alloy, which has good crack resistance and a long service life even with regular use. This material works well on city, trekking, touring and mountain bikes, where durability matters while keeping the weight moderate.

Installation

The seatpost comes with installation instructions, and a printed depth scale on its surface makes it easier to check how deep the seatpost is inserted into the frame - which is important so as not to go below the minimum insertion depth recommended by the bicycle manufacturer. Before buying, you must measure the diameter of your own frame's seat tube, because seatposts of the wrong diameter will not hold stably or will not fit at all.

Use

The product works as a replacement for a worn, bent or damaged seatpost on a city, trekking or mountain bike, and also when increasing the saddle height adjustment range.
