Mimoke Bicycle Bottom Bracket BSA 68 mm – internal bearing, square taper
Offer listed on WystawCoChcesz.pl. The product is sold by the kupcochcesz.pl online shop.
Mimoke Bicycle Bottom Bracket BSA
A bottom bracket is a bearing assembly located in the lower part of the bicycle frame, on which the crank spindle sits. The Mimoke model uses the popular threaded BSA standard with a 68 mm width, used in many mountain, road and trekking bikes.
Construction
The bottom bracket is designed for cranks with a square spindle taper, an older but still common solution on recreational and touring bikes. Inside is a sealed cartridge bearing that needs no extra maintenance and effectively protects the mechanism from dirt, mud and water when riding in tough conditions.
Compatibility
The product is offered in several spindle lengths (from 110.5 to 126 mm), which lets you match it to a specific crankset and the frame width at the bottom bracket. Before buying, it is worth measuring the currently installed bottom bracket or checking the bike's technical documentation to choose the right size.
Installation
Installing the bottom bracket requires a suitable tool to remove the old one from the threaded shell in the frame and screw in the new part, and then fit the crank onto it.
