TSTRAUM 14G bicycle spokes

Spokes are thin, rigid wires connecting the wheel hub to the rim, responsible for maintaining the correct geometry and stiffness of a bicycle wheel. The TSTRAUM set contains 36 spokes with 36 nipples (connectors), which is the complete set needed to lace one wheel with a typical number of holes.

Material and workmanship

The spokes are made of #45 grade carbon steel with a thickness of 14G (2 mm diameter), given a professional surface treatment that increases corrosion resistance. The spoke head has the classic J shape, bent at a 90-degree angle, which is the standard solution in most bicycle wheels.

Choosing the length

Spoke length is chosen individually depending on the combination of rim, hub and lacing pattern, so before ordering it is worth measuring the length of the existing spokes in the wheel that is to be repaired or relaced.

Uses
