Rigid MTB Fork 26/27.5 inch

A rigid (non-suspension) fork is the front part of a bike that holds the wheel to the frame and to which the stem and handlebars are also attached. The LSHUKLUS model is made of aluminum alloy and is available in sizes for 26 and 27.5 inch wheels.

Construction

The steerer tube is straight and threadless, in the 1-1/8 inch standard compatible with most modern ahead-type headsets. The fork legs have an independent U-shaped design, which the manufacturer describes as a solution that increases stability and impact resistance off-road. The wheel is attached with a quick-release (QR) axle with 9x100 mm spacing, standard for many mountain bikes.

Brake compatibility

The fork supports both disc brakes and V-brake rim brakes, which gives flexibility when building or upgrading a bike. The manufacturer states compatibility with tires from 1.0 to 2.1 inches wide, which is worth verifying with wider off-road tires.

Uses

The fork works as a replacement for a damaged or worn-out suspension fork (switching to a rigid one reduces weight and maintenance cost) or as a part for building a city or mountain bike that does not need front suspension.
