Mares Equator 2 mm – diving boots

Mares Equator 2 mm boots are lightweight neoprene footwear designed for divers who want comfortable foot protection without extra gear weight. The thin neoprene (2 mm) makes the boots a good choice for warmer water and as a layer under open-heel fins, while still allowing full freedom of movement at the ankle.

Construction and material

The upper is made entirely of neoprene, which provides flexibility and a snug fit around the foot, limiting water entering the boot. The closure is slip-on – with no laces or hook-and-loop straps that could snag on equipment or a reef. The boot profile reaches the ankle, making it easy to put on and take off even in a wet wetsuit.

Sole and grip

The rubber sole has a textured, non-slip surface, so the boots hold well on wet jetties, rocky bottoms and slippery boat decks. Cushioning is minimal but sufficient for short walks between the water entry and the gear collection point.
