MISTRAL Zonda 6.5 – windsurf sail

The Zonda sail from the Swiss brand MISTRAL is a 6.5 m² model designed to combine high top speed with a lightweight construction and easy handling on the water. The construction with five stiffening battens provides a wide range of uses, from light to stronger wind.

Sailing characteristics

The sail starts planing early even in light wind, which together with very good stability of the center of effort makes it suitable for almost all weather conditions encountered in recreational windsurfing. The balanced sail design is forgiving, which makes it easier to stay in control even for less experienced sailors.

Control in strong wind

The manufacturer emphasizes that the Zonda keeps a high level of control in stronger wind too, which makes it a versatile choice for both calmer days and more demanding sessions. The light five-batten construction makes it easier to maneuver the sail and change direction while sailing.

Who it is for

The sail from the Zonda family is available in several sizes (5.4, 6.5, 7.5 m²), which lets you match the area to the wind conditions and the sailor's skill level. The 6.5 m² model suits moderate and medium wind for sailors of average weight.
