Nitro Nova - freeride snowboard

The Nitro Nova is a women's snowboard designed for riders looking for gear for riding off the marked runs - on wide, open slopes, among trees and on natural terrain obstacles. The board's directional shape and a construction tailored to freeride make the model cope well both in fresh powder and on varied, ungroomed mountain terrain.

Construction and performance

The board uses a Powercore core and Cam-Out Camber technology, combining the stability of classic camber with easier turn initiation. The Dual Degressiv Sidecut makes smooth transitions between edges easier with a variable turning radius, and the Mid-Wide width provides good standing stability without losing maneuverability.

Riding level and intended use

The model is intended for advanced female snowboarders looking for a versatile board for riding off-piste and on longer, open mountain slopes. A medium, dynamic flex provides control at higher speeds while remaining forgiving enough to make learning new elements of off-piste riding easier.

Materials and durability

The core is made of wood, reinforced with Bi-Lite laminates, and the Premium Extruded FH base provides good glide and resistance to damage from contact with rocks or branches encountered off-piste. The manufacturer covers the board with a two-year warranty.
