The set of four pigtails is made up of small but important elements connecting the kite lines to the control system on a kitesurfing bar. They are used as connectors at the ends of the lines or when attaching to the bar, making it easy to quickly replace a damaged line without having to tie new knots every time.

Strength and use

The set has a declared breaking strength of 1000 kg, which corresponds to the loads occurring in kitesurfing and kiteboarding kite lines when riding in stronger wind. The middle part of the pigtail has a diameter of 4.5 mm and the loop part 2.6 mm, which lets you match it to the typical eyelets on lines and the bar.

Ease of use

Thanks to the ready-made loops, the pigtails let you quickly connect or disconnect lines from the bar or kite, which is useful when replacing a damaged part on the beach without access to additional tools.
