Learning Resources Helping Hands – teaching aid set

The Helping Hands tool set from Learning Resources is a teaching aid designed to practice fine motor skills in children aged 3 and up. The set has 24 pieces in six colors and includes four types of tools: Jumbo Tweezers, Handy Scoopers, Twisty Droppers and Squeezy Tweezers.

Practicing grip and precision

Each tool supports a different aspect of motor development: the squeeze tweezers teach the pincer grasp, the droppers strengthen the arches of the hand, the scoopers prepare children for using scissors, and the Gator Grabber tweezers guide the fingers into the correct pencil grip position. The tools work great in combination with sensory bins, counters or a water table.

Use in the classroom and at home
