Control and play

The locomotive runs on the LEGO Powered Up system – it can be controlled with a dedicated remote or a smartphone with the app installed. The drive requires 10 LR03 (AAA) batteries, which are not included in the set.

Play features

The train can pass through the mountain tunnel and trigger the falling rocks feature, and the minifigures can use the zip line connecting the mountain with the research outpost. The set includes 22 track pieces, a Johnny Thunder minifigure, five explorer minifigures and two arctic fox figures.

Building bricks for kids 7+

This is an extensive 1517-piece brick set that, thanks to its remote-controlled locomotive, combines classic building with the fun of driving a train. It makes a good gift for children who love trains and polar adventures.
