Ravensburger Lotti Karotti – a bunny race to the carrot

One of the most popular games of chance for preschoolers. Players lead their bunnies along a winding path up a hill with a giant carrot. Instead of dice, you draw cards: some tell you to move a bunny, others to turn the carrot at the top. Then hidden holes can open in the board, and careless bunnies fall into them.

Why children love it

• excitement with every turn of the carrot – nobody knows which hole will open,
• a three-dimensional board with a hill and traps,
• simple rules based on pictures,
• a version with three extra pieces: a mole, a gate and a bridge.

Practical information

The game is intended for 2–4 players aged 4 and up; one round takes about 20 minutes. This is the edition with a German-language box – the rules are picture-based and easy to explain, and the gameplay itself does not require reading. The pieces are made of cardboard and plastic.

This board game teaches waiting for your turn, counting spaces and coping with losing, because luck mostly decides the result – ideal for a first family game night.
