Retevis RT388 – kids' two-way radios, pair

Two lightweight walkie talkies for kids operating in the PMR446 band, a license-free band approved for use in Poland and throughout the European Union. The producer recommends them for children aged 4 to 12 – for games of tag, camping, the allotment garden or a bike trip.

Features

• 8 channels and 99 CTCSS/DCS codes – you can set a "private" channel,
• VOX function – talk without pressing a button,
• built-in flashlight for games after dark,
• backlit LCD display and volume control,
• automatic noise squelch,
• 2.5 mm headset jack.

For small hands

Each radio weighs only 79 g and measures 14.3 x 5.1 x 1.9 cm. The ABS plastic housing withstands a drop from a height of 1.2 m. The walkie talkies are powered by 4 AAA batteries each, which are not included – the package contains two radios, belt clips and an instruction manual.

These are real two-way radios, not toys, so children learn the rules of radio communication. Range depends on the terrain – it is best in open space.
