Manual roller mill for making beeswax foundation

A device that lets you emboss sheets of foundation yourself from melted beeswax, intended for apiaries that want to produce their own foundation instead of buying ready-made. Thanks to the uniform cell pattern embossed on the sheet, bees build comb faster and more regularly.

How it works

Heated wax is fed between the two smooth rollers of the mill, and then the crank is turned, so that within a few seconds a finished foundation sheet with the given cell pattern is produced. The solution significantly shortens the time needed to prepare foundation compared to manual methods.

Interchangeable rollers

The device is available with rollers in three different cell sizes - 4.9 mm, 5.1 mm and 5.4 mm - which lets you adapt the foundation you produce to different bee breeds and types of hives used.

Construction

The mill is made entirely of aluminum alloy, which ensures sturdiness, corrosion resistance and easy cleaning of the smooth roller surface after each work session. A compact base with mounting holes allows the device to be firmly attached to a workbench.
