Hydrogel is a dry, crystalline substance that swells when flooded with water and turns into a soft gel. These hydrogel granules act like a small reservoir in the soil: they absorb water during watering and then gradually release it to the roots. As a result, the soil stays moist for longer, and plants can be watered less often.

Use

• potted and balcony plants, planters and patio containers,
• flower beds and garden beds in places prone to drought,
• sowing and planting – the granules are mixed with soil or substrate,
• trips and vacations, when there is no one to water the plants.

How to use

Mix the granules with soil or substrate in the root zone. After watering, the gel will increase in volume, so add it sparingly. The water-retaining gel can also be soaked beforehand and added to the substrate already swollen.
