EORA – organic Greek extra virgin olive oil, 3 liter can

Olive oil is the foundation of the diet described by Mediterranean cuisine, and this one comes from the south of Greece. It is a Greek olive oil with the protected geographical indication P.G.I. Lakonia, sold in a convenient 3 liter aluminum can.

Origin and production

The olives of the Koroneiki and Athinolia varieties come from small and medium farms. They are hand-picked and pressed shortly after harvest, and the oil is made as a cold-pressed olive oil. The producer declares a low acidity of about 0.3%, an organic certificate and no GMO. This is a single-origin extra virgin olive oil, and the organic olive oil comes from the 25/26 season harvest.

Taste and use

The aroma is fruity, with notes of green leaves and a slightly peppery finish. It works:

• for salads and dressings,
• for drizzling over grilled vegetables and bread,
• as an olive oil for soups, pasta and risotto,
• in marinades and dips.
