Hansgrohe Ecostat 1001 CL – thermostatic bath mixer

The Ecostat 1001 CL is a surface-mounted thermostatic bath mixer from Hansgrohe, intended for bathrooms where the bath and shower share a common water supply. The bath fitting combines a round thermostat with a diverter that directs the water stream to the bath spout or to the shower handset.

Safety and constant temperature

The built-in thermostat keeps the set water temperature constant, automatically compensating for pressure fluctuations in the installation, so the user does not feel sudden bursts of water that is too hot or too cold. The safety feature limits the temperature to 40 degrees Celsius by default, and exceeding this threshold requires deliberately pressing an additional lock button on the handle – a solution especially useful in homes with children.

Performance and ease of use

The bath and shower mixer provides a water flow of up to 20 liters per minute at a pressure of 3 bar, which allows you to fill the bath quickly. Clear markings on the handles make it easy to switch between the bath and shower functions, and the chrome surface is scratch-resistant and easy to clean every day.

Surface mounting

The bath fitting is mounted to existing S-type wall connections at a spacing of 150 mm, with no need to interfere with the wall, which makes it a convenient solution when replacing an older mixer with a newer model.
