Serrano Reserve ham – partially boneless shoulder with stand

Spanish Serrano ham from the shoulder is a dry-cured meat sold as a whole piece weighing about 4–4.5 kg. The set also includes a Jamonprive ham stand in which the piece lies stably while slicing. A classic jamon for lovers of cured ham in the traditional style.

Character of the product

The name serrano refers to curing in the cool, dry mountain air, which favors slow, traditional curing. The meat was cured for at least nine months, has a medium to high maturity and rather fatty, full-flavored flesh.

Partially boneless shoulder

The largest bone, that is, the shoulder blade, has been removed, so the ham is easier to slice than a whole bone-in version. However, enough bone remains to keep the traditional look.

Storage and serving

• store in a dry, cool place, away from the sun,
• best consumed within a year of purchase,
• once you start slicing, eat within a month,
• slice very thin with a sharp long knife.
