Kishibori Shoyu is a naturally brewed Japanese soy sauce from Shodoshima island, intended for people who value authentic ingredients in Japanese cuisine. The 720 ml bottle contains koikuchi-type sauce, the classic dark shoyu with a full flavor.

How it is made

The sauce is made only from soybeans, wheat, salt and water. The mixture matures for over a year in wooden cedar vats, and then the mash is pressed slowly, with no artificial additives. As a result this premium soy sauce has a deep color, rich aroma and a distinct umami note. The producer declares that it is a soy sauce without preservatives and sweeteners.
