La Costeña Chipotle Chili - set of 8 cans of 199 g

Chipotle peppers in adobo sauce are one of the basic ingredients without which it is hard to imagine Mexican cuisine. The set contains eight 199 g cans of La Costeña, so it is enough for many recipes and can be stored as a supply.

Flavor

Chipotle are dried and smoked jalapeño peppers. In the can they are in a thick, slightly sour adobo sauce with vinegar and spices. The flavor is smoky, spicy and hot, but does not overwhelm the dish. Whole chipotle peppers can be pureed with a blender into a paste or used one at a time, and the product is a convenient chipotle chili straight from the can.

Ideas for use

• sauce for tacos, burritos and quesadillas,
• marinade for chicken, pork and beef,
• addition to chili con carne, beans and soups,
• smoky accent in mayonnaise, salsa and dips,
• a dish with tuna or shrimp.
