Nature Diet xylitol 1 kg - natural sugar substitute

Xylitol, also called birch sugar, is a natural polyol with a sweetness similar to ordinary sugar. The 1 kg package from Nature Diet is a white powder that you can use to sweeten drinks, desserts and baked goods every day. It has about half the calories of table sugar and a low glycemic index, so it does not cause sharp spikes in glucose levels.

Uses

• sweetening coffee, tea and drinks,
• cakes, cookies and desserts,
• keto and fit cooking as a sugar substitute,
• homemade jams and mousses.

Tips

Start with small amounts, for example a teaspoon a day, and increase them gradually, because larger portions may have a laxative effect. The manufacturer recommends a maximum of about 10 teaspoons a day. Xylitol is toxic to dogs, so keep it out of their reach.

Details

Natural powdered birch sugar is the first choice for people cutting down on sugar in their diet, because it tastes similar to ordinary sugar and does not leave a cooling aftertaste. The 1 kg bag lasts for many weeks of sweetening coffee and tea, as well as for baking.
