OB1 - terracotta tile adhesive and sealant

A multi-surface adhesive and sealant in a 290 ml cartridge, designed for bonding and sealing ceramic tiles and materials in a terracotta shade. The hybrid polymer formula can be applied even underwater, which makes the product useful for work around swimming pools and in bathrooms.

Properties

The product contains no solvents or isocyanates, so it is practically odourless and safe for domestic and industrial use. Once cured it stays flexible across a wide temperature range, from -40°C to +120°C, and the joint can stretch by as much as 350% without losing adhesion.

Use

The adhesive works well for bonding and sealing glazed tiles and terracotta on walls and floors, as well as for repairs on roofs and on stone and brick elements. It contains no volatile organic compounds, so once hardened it leaves no micropores that would encourage mould growth.

Specifications

This product is sold as a glazed tile and terracotta adhesive and as a terracotta tile adhesive, and its universal formula also works as a sealant for ceramic tiles. It is a rare waterproof tile adhesive on the market, so it is often searched for simply as OB1 terracotta adhesive.
