Rockwool 800 – stone wool for pipe insulation

Rockwool 800 is a stone wool pipe section with an aluminum lamination, designed for thermal insulation of pipes. This model fits pipes with a diameter of 15 mm (DN 10) and has an insulation thickness of 20 mm. Stone wool is a non-combustible material and dampens sound well.

Uses

Insulation wool in this form is used to insulate heating and hot water pipes in home installations, drinking water pipes and solar lines. It also works as pipe insulation where pipes pass through non-combustible elements.

Properties

The thermal insulation with a conductivity of 0.035 W/mK meets the requirements of the German EnEV regulation. The temperature range is up to 250°C on the wool side and up to 80°C on the laminate side. The material is non-combustible (A2L-s1, d0) and also limits diffusion.

Installation

The section is closed using double-sided adhesive tape, so installation on the pipe is simple and requires no special tools. One piece is 1 m long.
