LavaTap PEX pipe - a flexible alternative to copper pipes

The LavaTap PEX pipe is a 25-metre coil of cross-linked polyethylene pipe with a diameter of 15 mm, intended for hot and cold domestic water and central heating systems. The pipe has an additional oxygen barrier layer that protects the heating system from corrosion and extends the life of system components such as pumps, valves and radiators.

Flexibility and easy installation

Thanks to its flexibility and low weight (1.9 kg per 25 metres), PEX pipe is much easier to install than traditional copper pipe - it can be run through tight spaces without soldering or using many fittings. The pipe is compatible with both push-fit and compression fittings, giving you flexibility when choosing an installation system. Markings every 1 metre on the pipe surface make precise measuring and cutting easier during work.

Parameters and quality

The pipe withstands a working pressure of up to 10 bar, has a nominal wall thickness of 5.5 mm and is resistant to kinks, abrasion and temperature fluctuations. The product is WRAS certified, confirming its approval for use in drinking water systems - an important confirmation of the quality and safety of a material that comes into contact with domestic water.
