Trecor rubber-cork underlay 2 mm for laminate and parquet

Trecor underlay is a composite of cork and rubber granulate, made in Germany, intended for laying under laminate flooring, parquet and vinyl floors. Its job is to dampen the sound of footsteps and level out minor unevenness of the subfloor before installing the actual floor surface.

Effective acoustic insulation

The material reduces impact sound by as much as 19 dB, which realistically limits how audible footsteps are in the rooms below, and in multi-family housing is sometimes even a requirement for the technical acceptance of the floor. In addition, the underlay acts as thermal insulation, limiting heat loss through the subfloor.

Stability and durability

The material density of 500 kg/m3 and high elasticity ensure long-lasting resistance to pressure and aging - the underlay does not lose its properties even after years of use under heavy furniture. It also levels minor subfloor unevenness, improving walking comfort and the stability of the laid panels.

Applications

The roll, 100 cm wide and 2 mm thick, works under laminate flooring, glued parquet and vinyl floors. The product is not intended for use with underfloor heating.
