Virone DC-10 Carbon monoxide detector with LCD display

The Virone DC-10 is a carbon monoxide detector using an electrochemical sensor, which detects even very low CO concentrations, below 10 ppm. This type of sensor gives a more accurate measurement than cheaper semiconductor solutions and has low power consumption, which translates into longer battery life.

Clear display and alarms

The detector is equipped with an LCD display showing the current carbon monoxide concentration, temperature and air humidity in the room. If a dangerous CO level is detected, the device triggers a loud audible alarm of at least 85 dB and a flashing LED, effectively drawing the attention of household members.

Power and lifespan

The detector is powered by two AA batteries included in the set and signals both a low battery level and the approaching end of the sensor's life. The manufacturer states a 10-year lifespan of the electrochemical sensor, after which the device should be replaced with a new one. The detector has TÜV certification and an IP20 protection rating.
