Hikvision DS-KV8402-IM video intercom door camera

The DS-KV8102-IM, DS-KV8202-IM and DS-KV8402-IM are modern door stations designed for IP video intercom systems from the renowned Hikvision brand. Using IP technology, they provide reliable communication security, high compatibility and remote access via smartphones, as well as integration with intrusion alarm (SSWiN) and CCTV systems.

The DS-KV8402-IM video intercom presented here is a product from the Hikvision Villa series, intended for both single-family and multi-family homes. It has a solid construction, modern design and an excellent price-to-quality ratio. It is equipped with an elegant outer panel made of aluminum, a two-way audio system, a 13.56MHz Mifare card reader, LED backlighting and a 1.3Mpx camera, which translates into 720p image quality. The Hikvision door panel also has alarm connectors that allow the functionality to be expanded. Management is done with the iVMS program or the Batch Configuration Tool, and operation can also be carried out from mobile devices.

Hikvision IP video intercoms are a comprehensive solution enabling quick installation of access control. They work well in security systems for single-family homes, adding access control and monitoring functions. Hikvision video intercoms let you talk with people standing at the gate, entrance or door, view IP cameras and expand the system with additional security functions. The video intercom can be operated with a monitor, a computer application, and tablet and mobile apps.

The Hikvision door station, combined with a monitor, allows video calls. The 1.3Mpx camera and the LED system provide clear observation both day and night. The two-way audio system guarantees clear communication. The solid housing, backlit name plate and voice messages increase the reliability and convenience of operating the device.

The video intercom comes with iVMS software for system configuration and access control. This application works with Hikvision devices, enabling image display, door control, card programming, display of alarm messages and two-way audio transmission.

The device allows direct access through a cloud operating system, providing remote access to the door station and other functions. Registration is done through a web browser or QR code. The Hik-Connect app lets you play back recordings, view the camera in real time, control the system and receive calls.
