The screen of a DSLR camera is exposed to scratches and impacts during everyday use – especially in a backpack, camera bag or out in the field. The ADQQUI BM-12 protective cover is a rigid, transparent ABS plastic shield designed specifically for the dimensions of the LCD screen of Nikon D800, D810 and D800E DSLRs.

Hard protection instead of a thin sticker

Unlike typical self-adhesive films, this shield is a rigid snap-on cover that effectively absorbs impacts and protects the screen from scratches caused by keys, carabiners or gear lying next to the camera in the bag. The high surface hardness (9H) makes the cover resistant to accidental scratches from a fingernail or the camera strap.

Clarity without losing preview quality

Light transmission above 95% means the image preview on the screen stays sharp and natural in color – judging sharpness, the histogram or the composition of the frame is just as legible. The coating is also water resistant, which matters when shooting in tougher weather conditions.

Easy installation

The cover attaches without glue – it snaps onto the edge of the screen housing, so you can remove it at any time for cleaning and put it back on without the risk of air bubbles typical of self-adhesive films. The set includes two pieces, so one can be kept as a spare.
