AggSound 4 mm sound deadening mat

The AggSound deadening mat is a self-adhesive closed-cell foam that reduces noise and vibration and improves thermal insulation wherever an effectively quieted surface is needed - in a car, trailer, camper or a home audio installation. A 10 x 1 m roll covers a total of 6.04 square meters of surface.

Material structure

The mat consists of three layers: 4 mm closed-cell foam, a layer of carrier adhesive and a protective backing removed before installation. This construction provides good acoustic insulation and reduces heat transfer.

Installation

Installation comes down to five steps: removing the part, cleaning the surface, cutting the mat to size, sticking it on and reinstalling. The universal 4 mm thickness fits doors, hood, trunk, floor and firewall without causing problems closing the parts.
