Flaem Aspira – continuous-duty medical suction unit

The Flaem Aspira is an electric medical suction unit from the Italian brand Flaem, designed for suctioning secretions from the throat and airways. The device operates in continuous mode, which distinguishes it from simple, occasional home aspirators and allows it to be used both in healthcare facilities and in home therapy for people who need regular suctioning of secretions.

Performance and adjustment

The suction unit achieves an airflow of about 13.5 l/min, and the vacuum can be smoothly adjusted in a range from -0.05 to -0.83 bar. This is handled by Flaem's patented ASPICONFORT system, which lets you match the suction force to the needs of a particular patient and type of secretion, without putting excessive strain on delicate tissues.
