Qivine – electric hot knife for cutting styrofoam

The Qivine 300 W electric hot knife is a tool for precisely cutting styrofoam (EPS), sponge, foam, rubber, fabrics and plastics. Heated by a Ni-Cr alloy resistance element, adjustable in the range of 50–600°C, it allows smooth cutting without the crumbling and dust typical of mechanical cutting.

Use

The tool works well for trimming styrofoam boards when insulating buildings, cutting shapes from foam for models, decorations and mock-ups, as well as for cutting foam mattresses, XPS insulation boards, synthetic fabrics and ropes. The four different blades in the set let you choose the shape for the type of cut – from straight, long cuts to precise curve cutting.
