Mounts straight onto the camera

The ECM-B10 is a compact shotgun microphone that attaches to the Multi Interface Shoe of Sony cameras. Power and the digital audio signal pass through the shoe, so the microphone needs no cables or batteries of its own. It is a simple solution for vloggers and creators who want clearly better sound than from the built-in microphone.

Three pickup patterns

• super-directional, for interviews and recording from a distance
• directional, for recording the voice of the person in front of the camera
• omnidirectional, for capturing the surroundings or several speakers

Clean sound

Built-in noise reduction filters and recording level adjustment help you get a clean voice. The kit includes a furry windscreen for outdoor use, a protective connector cap and a case.

The microphone is small enough that it does not block a screen flipped forward, and it works well with compact vlogging cameras. The pickup patterns are switched with a switch on the body, without changing any equipment.
