Van der Velde floating island 25x25 cm with water plants for a garden pond

A ready-made set of live water and marsh plants on a floating island, intended for garden ponds and small ponds. The plants absorb nitrogen compounds from the water, limit algae growth and help keep the water clear, while decorating the surface with flowers.

• Houttuynia cordata Chameleon,
• yellow iris (Iris pseudacorus),
• pickerel weed (Pontederia cordata),
• flowering rush (Butomus umbellatus),
• black floating ring 25x25x4 cm,
• aquatic plant basket 19x19x10 cm,
• aquatic plant clay 800 g, covering gravel 400 g,
• 8 g fertilizer tablet and planting instructions.

Cultivation

The plants are hardy and perennial, and need a sunny position and constantly moist soil. They bloom from May to September and attract pollinating insects. The plant is placed in the basket with substrate and set at the recommended depth, and it is worth regularly removing faded flowers and dead leaves. For a natural effect, about eight plants per square meter are recommended.
