A high-performance instrument system that shows near-instant changes in wind speed and direction. In demanding conditions where high performance is essential, the Clipper Tactical Wind System is the ideal choice. Ten updates per second respond very quickly to changes in wind speed and direction that occur during difficult maneuvers. The sensor is supplied complete with a mast mounting kit, a lightweight 20-meter cable and all the electrical connectors needed to complete the installation. The output data is in NMEA 0183 format and can be used to drive any compatible display that uses the MWV sentence. True wind display. The Clipper True Wind Display shows apparent wind speed and direction, and when connected to a log or GPS it can also show true wind speed and direction.
