The Korg microKEY 25 has a velocity-sensitive Natural Touch mini keyboard, which has been praised in instruments such as the microKORG XL and microARRANGER. The proportions of the black and white keys have been adjusted for optimal playability, easy recording and fast phrase work; special attention has been paid to touch and playing feel. The "waterfall-type" keyboard makes it easier to play glissando. This keyboard accurately conveys the dynamics of your performance to your software.

In addition to the existing 37-key model, a 25-key model and a 61-key model have been added to the line. The 25-key model features excellent portability, letting you enjoy playing and production with an excellent sensitive keyboard even when you are away from home. The 37-key model provides good playability while allowing a compact production setup. And the 61-key model offers a full five octaves, satisfying the performing musician while fitting in the same horizontal dimensions as a full-size 49-key model. Octave Shift buttons are available on all models. Using the UP DOWN buttons shifts the octave by the appropriate number of steps for each model so that, combined with the Key Transpose function, the full range of notes in the MIDI specification can be covered. As for the array of controllers needed to increase the expressive power of your performance, the 37- and 61-key models have a pitch wheel and a modulation wheel. The 25-key model has an arpeggiator button, a sustain tap button and a joystick to which you can assign pitch bend, modulation or other control changes, giving you plenty of control and rich expressive potential despite its compact size.

Free software.

The "KORG KONTROL Editor" editing software can be downloaded free of charge from the manufacturer's website. With it you can configure the microKEY for any program that works with a MIDI keyboard.
