Lubegard 95030 Engine Flush Before Oil Change

What it is for

The Lubegard 95030 engine flush is a concentrate poured into the old oil just before draining it, designed for gasoline and diesel engines. The product's job is to clean the inside of the engine of deposits, sludge and combustion by-products accumulated during use, before fresh oil goes into the system.

How it works

The synthetic-based formula contains cleaning and dispersing agents that dissolve and break up varnish deposits and sludge settled on the walls of the oil passages, the oil pan and the engine's moving parts. The product contains no aggressive solvents that could damage seals and shaft seals, so it is safe for the rubber components of the lubrication system. After a dozen or so minutes of idling the engine with the flush added, the dissolved contaminants are removed together with the old oil.

Uses

The product is poured into the engine together with the old oil before the oil change, the engine is run at idle for the time recommended by the manufacturer, and then the used oil is drained together with the dissolved deposits, the filter is replaced and fresh oil is added. Regular use of the flush at every oil change or every few changes helps keep the inside of the engine clean, improve lubrication of moving parts and prepare the engine to receive fresh oil with full lubricating properties.
