Meinl TRI15B – percussion triangle

The Meinl triangle is a classic percussion instrument made entirely of brass, giving a soft but clearly audible, characteristic sound. The TRI15B model has a diameter of 15.24 cm, making it a medium-sized instrument that works well both in music education and in orchestral performances.

Construction

The instrument is played with the included metal beater, striking the triangular brass body. A holder is attached to the triangle, so the instrument can be hung freely and held in the hand without damping the sound, which makes playing easier both standing and sitting.

Build quality

Solid brass ensures the durability of the instrument and a stable, repeatable sound with every strike. The Meinl triangle is available in three sizes – the 15 cm model is a versatile choice for most uses, from rhythm lessons to percussion ensemble performances.

Use

It is an instrument widely used in orchestras, school ensembles, music education lessons and as part of the equipment of a percussion section.
