To save the reputation of the Lantel company, Grace hires the attractive former police officer Lauren Allen to track down the unknown killer. After another murder, the clues lead Lauren to suspect Gordon Lewis, a former Lantel perfumer who claims to own the infamous Desire perfume.

When an attractive student becomes the next victim of the "perfume killer", Lauren goes undercover to track down Gordon. However, she is increasingly captivated by Gordon's mysterious charm.
