Die Schneekönigin - A Captivating DVD

One winter night the Snow Queen unexpectedly appears at the home of Kai and Gerda's grandmother. She wants to take the innocent Kai, freezing his heart with a kiss and turning him into a cold and spiteful stranger. Despite the grandmother's desperate efforts, attempts to bring Kai back to normal come to nothing.

In the end the Snow Queen triumphs, carrying the boy off to her ice palace. Gerda, sad and desperate, decides to find and free Kai herself, setting out on a wonderful journey to the Snow Queen's castle. On this amazing quest she meets a talking raven, crows and is even captured by robbers.

In the company of the bandits and their leader's daughter, Gerda befriends a talking, flying reindeer who knows the way north to the Ice Palace. With the reindeer's help, will she manage to find the Snow Queen's castle and save her beloved brother?
