Talens – retouching varnish for oil paintings, 400 ml

Talens (Royal Talens) retouching varnish in an aerosol is used for temporary protection and revival of oil paintings. It restores the depth of color in areas that have gone dull after the paint dried and evens out the gloss on the surface. Thanks to the spray form, a thin, even layer can be applied quickly, without brush marks.

Use

Retouching varnish is used while working on a painting and when refreshing older canvases. It gives a glossy finish, and with subsequent layers of paint it makes matching colors easier. The aerosol should be sprayed from a distance of several centimeters, in a well-ventilated room, away from fire. For final protection of the work, a final varnish is usually applied after the paint has dried completely.
