WoldoClean Soft Ton – white grogged clay 10 kg

Soft Ton is a natural white sculpting and pottery clay with 25% grog with a grain size of 0.5 mm. Grog increases the stability of the mass and limits cracking during drying, so the clay is also well suited for larger sculptures and art projects. The package contains 10 kg of clay, a protective film and instructions.

Properties

The clay is soft and easy to knead and shape. The manufacturer states that it can be fired at a temperature from 1000 to 1240°C or simply left to air dry. A dry sculpture can be sanded, drilled and painted with acrylic paints. When stored properly in an airtight package, the clay stays pliable for a long time.

Applications

• modeling and sculpting figures and larger objects up to about 50 cm,
• throwing on a potter's wheel,
• ceramic firing in a kiln,
• art classes in schools and workshops.

The clay comes from Germany and is a natural product, suitable for adults and for beginners.
