Yamaha CGS-102 - 1/2 size guitar for kids

The Yamaha CGS-102 is a 1/2 size classical guitar designed specifically for children aged about 5-7. The reduced scale and lightweight construction make a child's first contact with the instrument easier, and the Yamaha brand has long been a proven choice in music schools around the world.

Construction and sound

The top of the guitar is made of spruce, and the back and sides of meranti, which provides a full, clear tone despite the instrument's small size. The neck and fingerboard are made of rosewood, and the soft nylon strings are gentle on children's fingers while learning the first chords.

Fit for a child

The 535 mm scale length and the compact overall dimensions of the guitar (85.8 x 31 x 8.4 cm) make the instrument easy for a small child to hold and play, which makes learning more comfortable and enjoyable.

Quality and durability

The instrument is covered by a two-year manufacturer warranty, and the solid construction makes it suitable both for learning at home and for classes in music schools.
