ASHATA aluminum water block for processor cooling

The ASHATA water block is a basic element of a computer liquid cooling loop, responsible for taking heat directly from the processor and passing it to the coolant circulating in the loop. Made of aluminum by extrusion, it provides stable operation and even water flow.

Construction and workmanship

The block has an internal flow channel integrated into a single cast of aluminum alloy, and internal fins 0.5 mm thick increase the contact area with the coolant, improving heat removal efficiency. The tightness of the construction is confirmed by a low leak rate, below 5x10-6 mbar.l/s.

Use

The 40x80 mm block works well in the liquid cooling loop of a desktop computer processor, as well as in other applications requiring effective cooling, e.g. industrial drives or control cabinets.

Installation

Fittings with an outer diameter of 9.5 mm make it easy to connect the cooling tubing, and the flat base provides good thermal contact with the processor when thermal paste is used.
