Anker SOLIX Solar Bank E1600

The Solar Bank E1600 is an energy storage unit that attaches to a home balcony power plant. It stores the surplus electricity produced by solar panels during the day so it can be fed back into the installation in the evening or at night, when demand for power is greater than production from the panels.

Durability and installation

The manufacturer declares 6000 charge cycles. The housing has an IP65 protection rating, so the device withstands moisture and dust when installed outdoors. The Solar Bank combines a battery and a DC power distributor in one housing, which makes self-installation easier without professional help.
