D-Link DIR-615 wireless router (802.11b g n 300Mb s).

Wireless router.
The D-Link DIR-615 wireless router from the Wireless N series is an excellent product intended for users who care about better network performance and the best price. After connecting the DIR-615 router to a cable modem or a DSL modem, users can share an Internet connection and create a secure wireless network. This makes sharing photos, music recordings and video, printers and scanners simpler than ever before.

High performance throughout the home.
The DIR-615 wireless router from the Wireless N series is based on the 802.11n standard. The device has a 2x2 antenna, so it sends and receives multiple data streams, providing excellent signal coverage and eliminating "dead zones". By equipping a desktop computer or notebook with a Wireless N card, users can connect to the network from practically anywhere in the home. Wireless N technology also works with existing wireless devices supporting the 802.11g and 802.11b standards. The DIR-615 router also follows the "good neighbor" rules, so it does not cause interference in nearby networks. This effect is achieved by narrowing the radio frequency band used when an older 802.11g b network is detected nearby.

Easier wireless network security.
The router supports the Wi-Fi Alliance standard, providing network security without any problem. The WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup™) system automatically generates and sends the wireless network name (SSID) and encryption keys to client devices. As a result, users do not have to remember complicated passwords and enter them many times. This significantly simplifies the process of configuring wireless network security. The DIR-615 supports the most modern radio network security features and protects against unauthorized access from outside the network and from the Internet. Support for the WEP, WPA and WPA2 standards ensures top-level signal encryption. The router also works as a dual firewall (SPI and NAT), protecting the network from potential attacks from the Internet.

Xbox Live® compatibility.
Thanks to Xbox Live® compatibility, users can enjoy easy network setup and administration, reliable audio and video streaming, built-in network diagnostics and a reliable Internet connection for applications that use streaming, such as online games and VoIP telephony.

Easy setup.
The DIR-615 router can be used with any Internet connection, both via an ADSL line (router without a modem) and a cable network, as well as with an Internet provider offering telecommunications services or television along with Internet access. With the D-Link Click’n Connect wizard (DCC 2), every user, even without technical experience, can install the router and configure the Internet connection in a few minutes - just insert the software disc included with the product into the CD-ROM drive. In a few simple steps, following the guidance, the user sets up the physical connections (power and network cables), configures the wireless network settings and security, and the connection to the provider.
