Crucial P510 2TB – M.2 NVMe PCIe 5.0 SSD

The Crucial P510 is an affordable Gen5 SSD – it gives PCIe 5.0 speeds without the price of top-end models. It runs cooler and is more energy efficient than older Gen5 drives, so it also fits well in smaller cases. The 2 TB capacity holds the system, a large game library and current projects without constantly moving files. The manufacturer's part number is CT2000P510SSD8.

Speed

According to the manufacturer, the 2 TB version reaches up to 10,000 MB/s sequential read and up to 8,700 MB/s sequential write. The drive will also work in a PCIe 4.0 or 3.0 slot, in which case the speed is limited by the slot.

A first Gen5 drive at a reasonable price
