Estwing E24A – hatchet forged from a single piece of steel

The Estwing E24A is a hatchet intended for fieldwork, camping and cutting wood for a campsite or campfire. A characteristic feature of this brand's tools is the construction forged from a single piece of tool steel, joining the head and handle into one exceptionally durable element, with no risk of the head coming loose during work.

Durability and build

The blade is made of forged tool steel with a smooth cutting edge, which ensures effective cutting while keeping the tool durable. The handle is covered with natural leather, which dampens vibration on impact and provides a firm grip even in damp conditions.

Compact size for trips

The total length of the hatchet is 35.6 cm and the weight is about 0.82 kg, so it easily fits in a backpack or car trunk. A protective nylon sheath is included, which protects the blade during transport and storage and protects the user from accidental cuts.

Use in the field

The hatchet works for preparing firewood, kindling, or tidying work in the garden and on an allotment. The small dimensions mean you can take it camping, on a kayak trip or a mountain expedition without weighing down your luggage.
