FEITIAN ePass K9 Plus – hardware security key

The ePass K9 Plus is a small hardware key that serves as a second login factor. Instead of an SMS code or an app, you just insert it into a USB-A port or tap it to an NFC phone and confirm by touch. This way, stealing a password is not enough to get into a protected account.

Standards and compatibility

The key supports FIDO U2F and FIDO2, as well as the PIV function. It works in popular browsers without installing drivers and works with computers, laptops, tablets, Android phones and other devices equipped with NFC. One key can store many key pairs, so you can secure several online services with it.

How to get started

Register the key in the security settings of your chosen account, and for later logins touch the button or hold the key near the NFC reader. It is worth registering a second, backup key in case you lose one. It is a simple way to get two-factor authentication without additional apps.

Specifications

As a FIDO2 key and U2F key in one, and a USB NFC key, it suits home and business.
