Haofy - W5500 network module for building a simple web server

The Haofy expansion module is based on the W5500 chip and lets you give a development board a full Ethernet network interface. It is designed for electronics hobbyists who want to build a simple web server or a device that communicates on a local network.

Features and use

The module has an RJ-45 interface as well as digital and analog interfaces for reading and writing network data. This makes it usable in IoT projects, home automation or simple servers that store and share data on a local network.

Electrical parameters

The module is powered with 3.3 V DC, with a 5 V DC output voltage, and its operating current is about 380 mA at a maximum power of 3 W. The operating temperature range is from -55°C to +75°C, which allows the module to be used in less stable environmental conditions as well.

Installation

The module connects directly to a control board or development board, and a pin pitch of about 2.54 mm makes it easy to integrate with standard connectors used in electronics projects. The construction is based on a durable synthetic cardboard material.
